If you are not satisfied with a product that you purchased from https://www.komptrade.com/komptradeshop, you have the option to return it and get a conditional refund. You will find the applicable conditions on this page.
1. Legal right of withdrawal
I. As a consumer located in the European Economic Area, you have a legal right of withdrawal. This means that you may cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of the products (or the last product, batch or part if the order is for several products or several batches or parts delivered separately) by you or a third party (other than the carrier) that you have designated («the Withdrawal Period»), and this without having to justify your decision (the «Legal right of withdrawal»).
II. To exercise your legal right of withdrawal, you must send your request to exercise the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the Withdrawal Period and then return the product(s) to the address indicated within 14 days following the transmission of your request for withdrawal. III. You can send your withdrawal request to the Seller by using the model withdrawal form available below, or by making any other unequivocal statement indicating your decision to withdraw from the contract and sending it to info@komptrade.co.uk. If you send your withdrawal request electronically, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt of your withdrawal request by email as soon as possible.
IV. You may be liable for the loss of value of returned products if you have handled them (unless handling was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the products). The packaging, without being airtight as when it was received, must not be damaged.
V. If you withdraw your order in accordance with the statutory right of withdrawal, the initial shipping costs are refundable (with the exception of additional costs that may arise if you have chosen a delivery method faster than the standard delivery method offered by the seller).
VI. All refunds, including delivery charges where applicable, are processed within 14 days from the day the seller is notified of the withdrawal request. The seller may defer the refund until recovery of the returned product(s) or until you have provided proof of shipment of this product(s), the date being that of the first of these facts. All refunds will be made using the same payment method you used to make your purchase, unless you expressly agree to the use of another payment method and to the extent that such other payment method does not incur a fee for you.
VII. Please note that you will have to bear the direct costs of returning the products.
2. Voluntary return policy
I. This condition applies only to the Voluntary Return Policy described in this Return and Refund Policy, and does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
II. Without prejudice to your statutory right of withdrawal, you may return your products within 30 days from the date of purchase (the "Voluntary Return Period"), subject to the exclusions set out in section 3 below. The Voluntary Return Period may be limited to 20 days for certain bulky electronic products or electrical appliances, as indicated on the product detail page depending on the seller. Please note that within 14 days of receiving your products, you have the legal right to withdraw as described above.
III. You will have to bear the direct costs incurred by the return of the products.
IV. For refunds of returned items, your refund will be processed after the items are received and checked to ensure they have not been damaged or used.
V. To get a full refund, you must return each item in the condition you received it. This means that new items must be returned new, intact and complete. Please note that if the returned item is used or damaged, missing parts/accessories directly attributable to you, an amount up to the purchase price of the item in question will be deducted from the refund, in order to compensate for any loss of value of this item.
VI. The delivery charges for your initial purchase, if any, are not refundable under this Voluntary Return Policy, without prejudice to your statutory rights as described above.
3. Exceptions to the Legal Right of Withdrawal and the Voluntary Return Policy
The same exceptions apply to the Legal Right of Withdrawal and the Voluntary Return Policy. You cannot withdraw from your order for the following products:
Products which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery or which, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other products after delivery;
Audio or video recordings or computer software delivered in sealed packaging, if the packaging has been unsealed after delivery;
Products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly customized;
Products likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.
